We know what fast is all about...

Desmoto-Sport clients campaign annually in AFM and AMA events and are consistently in the top 5 in every class they participate in. First-hand track experience translates directly into our ability to truly understand how to get the most from an engine/suspension package. We specialize in custom performance maps/tunes on the dyno, suspension upgrades and following the rules for AFM/AMA set up. If you're a racer or enjoy the occasional track day, give us a call for help in setting up your bike.

Follow the crew this season with monthly AFM events at Sonoma Raceway, Thunderhill Park Raceway and Buttonwillow Raceway Park.



Steve Metz

0n his tenth year of competitive roadracing, Steve plans to race his '09 1198S in AFM, chase a class championship in Open Twins and a podium finish in Open Superbike this year. He will do additional classes at select AFM rounds on his 749R. Steve also intends to compete in the Wera West series in 2012, chasing a class championship in the Heavyweight Twins Expert class.

  • In his 2011 Season in AFM racing Steve finished 3rd in Open Twins, 5th in Open Superbike, 9th in Formula Pacific on his '09 1198S and '04 749R. Season highlights include a pair of 2nd place finishes in AFM Open Twins and three race wins at WSMC.
  • 2009 AFM 2nd Overall Open Twins Championship, 6th in 750 Superbike and 9th in Formula One.
  • Riding since 1999, racing since 2003
  • Keigwins instructor since 2005
