Strongmail Desmoto Sport 749R Goes 4 for 4! |

.jpg "Image") Coming off two convincing wins at last month’s AFM opening round at Buttonwillow Raceway, the Strongmail Desmoto Sport race team continued its winning ways at Infineon Raceway on April 25 for round 2 of the AFM 2009 championship with dominant wins in Open Twins and 750 Superbike.
 Matt Green took the 749R to the front early building a comfortable lead netting 4 wins in 4 races! “Scott has this bike working so well I just point it and go, seriously, this bike is off the charts fun to ride!”
The team has had two respectable results through round 2 against the heavily modified 1000cc inline fours in Formula Pacific, the AFM’s premier fast class. After moving from 16th to finish 9th at Buttonwillow, Matt took the out-gunned 749R to a solid 8th place beating the #5 plate holder of Martin Swarc and #4 plate holder of David Bell.
“We’re looking forward to getting our 999R out there in Formula Pacific to see how we go but that little 749R sure held its own against the big bikes!” said Scott Jenkins.
